Alien Isolation 2 Announcement Stuns Fans Worldwide

Alien Isolation is a critically acclaimed survival horror game which takes you 15 years after the events of the original Alien film. It follows Amanda Ripley, the daughter of Ellen Ripley, as she investigates the disappearance of her mother aboard the derelict space station Sevastopol.

It may not have been as much of a commercial success as Sega would have wanted, but fans of the series and gamers in general, attest to the brilliance of this game. That’s why when the 10th anniversary of the game came up, fans were clamoring for a sequel.

And so when Creative Assembly and Sega both posted on X that a sequel is in development, fans worldwide were delightfully stunned. The official statement came from Al Hope, who is the original creative director of Alien Isolation and will be, too, for Alien Isolation 2.

Considering that the sequel is still in early development, we probably won’t hear anything from it for the next few months. The first game was such a great one that the sequel will have its hands full to follow it.

Apart from the confirmation of a sequel, no other information was revealed. Not even an estimate on when it could be released or if it will be named Alien Isolation 2. But the fact that this is real, is enough for any fan to get excited and to patiently wait.
