Alan Wake 2 – Remedy Confirms Sequel
It’s finally happened, Epic Games and Remedy Entertainment have confirmed Alan Wake 2, more than ten years after the first game.

WHEN DOES ALAN WAKE 2 RELEASE?
Remedy finally announced Alan Wake 2, two years after they acquired the license from Microsoft in 2019.
They also confirmed that the game is a survival horror, with Remedy creative director Sam Lake promising a darker story with plenty of twists and psychological horror.
The trailer is not too revealing, but there are already subtle clues throughout, including the hints at a possible trilogy.
The idea comes from a neon sign that reads “Initiation.”
In Quantum Break, someone is studying Alan Wake’s disappearance, and with that comes the Monomyth, a story broken up into three parts. Departure, Initiation, and Return.
Could the first Alan Wake game be the “Departure” and this second the “Initiation?” If so, that could mean a third game based on the “Return.”
One notable point towards the end of the trailer is the close-up of Alan’s face, which many believe to be Mr. Scratch, Alan’s blood-thirsty doppelganger.
It’s a great watch, and until we know more, we can only guess at what’s to come.
Alan Wake 2 will release for PS5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
