XDefiant – Ubisoft Announces New FPS

Ubisoft’s newly announced FPS, Tom Clancy’s XDefiant, is a new team-based shooter featuring characters from various Tom Clancy games and its beta is open to registrations now.

WHAT IS TOM CLANCY’S XDEFIANT?

 

XDefiant is a free-to-play, fast-paced 6v6 team-based multiplayer shooter which will see crossovers between other Tom Clancy games.

   

Characters are split into factions based on other Tom Clancy titles and act as classes for the game.

  • Wolves – Ghost Recon (Tank)
  • Echelon – Splinter Cell (Support)
  • Outcasts – The Division (Healer)
  • Cleaners – The Division (Assault)

Each faction has its unique traits, abilities, and ultras, and there will be more factions released post-release.

There is no need to worry about variety and customization as you can fully customize your loadout by choosing your primary and secondary weapon, as well as your device.

   

You can also change your loadout after respawning so that you can adjust to the match as it develops.

Matches will occur across several game modes, including Domination and Escort.

 

XDEFIANT BETA OPEN FOR REGISTRATIONS

 

Tom Clancy’s XDefiant beta begins August 5, and you can sign up now for it on the game’s official website.

   

During the beta, there are seven arena maps, three linear maps, and five game modes: Domination, Upload, Ringleader, Escort, and Zone Control.

The beta is initially available on PC for players in the US and Canada.

When the game finally launches, it will release on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
