Xbox Game Pass February 2025: What’s New? Discover February’s additions to Game Pass when to start playing for free!
Update Feb 25 – Balatro has joined Xbox Game Pass today. The announcement was made during the recently held ID@Xbox Showcase, alongside the news that it has received its latest Friends of Jimbo update. This adds more big game collabs in the card cosmetics which includes Assassin’s Creed, Fallout, Critical Role, Bugsnax, Civilization 7, Dead by Daylight, Slay the Princess, and Rust.
Update Feb 18 – February is a short month and it shows with the Game Pass February lineup. The wave 2 list was announced and although they are great games, it feels a bit stingy with only 3 confirmed games: Watch Dogs: Legion, EA Sports F1 24, and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. As part of the announcement though, there will be more Game Pass updates during IGN Fan Fest 2025. So let’s see and hope for surprises!
Update Feb 4 – Microsoft has revealed the first wave of titles entering Xbox Game Pass this month. And like January (it could be a pattern now), Standard seems to be the winner with this drop with 4 titles out of 6. Also part of the update was the inclusion of Avowed, which technically should be part of wave 2 already. Hopefully, we get a better lineup for the second half of Feb.
Original publication – Xbox Game Pass has brought us an incredible start of the year with a massive list of 22 games. The second wave was such a turn around from the underwhelming wave 1 list. In the end, the games were great and it included five day-one launches. And now that we have entered February, let’s take a look at what we have so far.
Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Joining Titles
While the “Leaving Soon” in Xbox Game Pass has been updated to show us the initial 7 games leaving the service, the “Coming Soon” part has not. But even without it or the official announcement, we already have 2 games confirmed for Game Pass February.
Far Cry New Dawn is set to join the service tomorrow which was confirmed as part of January’s wave 2 announcement. The other one is the highly anticipated Avowed which will launch day-one, February 18. Considering that the games leaving have been revealed, it won’t take long for wave 1 official announcement to be released.
