Xbox Game Pass Core Welcomes Three More Games To Its Catalog
Three new games have entered the Xbox Game Pass Core library today! Enjoy online multiplayer with Core’s high-quality titles.
Although it’s often the most overlooked subscription in the Game Pass ecosystem, Xbox Game Pass Core has its merits especially for players who prioritize online multiplayer. While its game library is only a fraction of what other Game Pass tiers offer, the quality of titles remains high. As Microsoft stated when introducing Core, the highly curated catalog will be updated three to four times a year. Now, it’s time for the first update of 2025.
New Games On Xbox Game Pass Core Library
The last update to Game Pass Core was in December 2024, when Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled, DayZ, and Goat Simulator joined the library. Now, three months later, another batch of three games has been added to the lineup:
- Batman: Arkham Knight – Step into the boots of the Dark Knight in this action-packed open-world adventure set in Gotham City.
- Tunic – A charming yet challenging isometric action RPG that follows a small fox on a grand adventure filled with secrets and puzzles.

While there’s no fixed schedule for when the Game Pass Core catalog updates, previous updates suggest a pattern of roughly every three months. So, while we enjoy these new additions, we can likely expect another refresh sometime around June 2025.
