Tour de France 2020 will release on PC for the first time and with it comes a first-person mode.

The Tour de France has been delayed until August, and may yet still be delayed further or even canceled due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, but fans of the cycling event can take comfort that the game is set to release on time.

It is hoped that the new first-person perspective mode will add to the already realistic gameplay and show players what it takes to be a pro cyclist.

Players will be able to enjoy all the breakaways, slopes, and sprints of the pro cyclist event, along with the Pro Leader mode, where players can create their custom cyclist with their own specialization.

If you haven’t seen the game’s trailer yet, here you go:

To go alongside the PC release date there are multiple improvements over last year’s title, and players will be able to enjoy “The Old Lady”, a 266km race of climbs, a redesigned interface, a deeper time-trial where posture and sprint management are key, and a more realistic AI opponent that will take advantage of any mistake.

Those who are worried that the Tour de France may yet be canceled, or can’t wait until August to watch it, will be able to still enjoy the sights and sounds of the annual pro cycling event with Tour de France 2020.

You can get your hands on Tour de France 2020 on June 4, 2020, for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, with a PC release due later in the year.
