Quite recently too, pro skater Tyshawn Jones casually dropped the news during an interview on The Breakfast Club podcast confirming that he is involved in an upcoming THPS remaster.
So now, the question isn’t if a remaster is happening, but which game is getting the treatment. While Activision has yet to officially announce anything, all signs seem to be pointing toward a remaster of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4.
And the latest update even predicts a day-one launch on Game Pass.

One of the biggest pieces of evidence comes from eXstas1s, a well-known leaker, especially when it comes to Game Pass news. He has confidently stated that the 3+4 remaster is real and that he can confirm a 2025 release.
On top of that, eXstas1s predicts that it will shadow drop in June 2025, likely during the Xbox Summer Showcase. If this is accurate, it means fans could be just a few months away from a surprise launch. And for Game Pass members, even better news.
He speculates that it will be a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass but he made it clear that this won’t be an Xbox exclusive as the game is expected to also launch on PS5 and Steam. As for a Nintendo Switch 2 version, he could not confirm if it will be included in the initial release.
As of now, we’ll have to wait until March 4, 2025, to find out the full details. With no official press release from Activision or Tony Hawk, it’s still unclear whether this date marks the game’s official announcement or who knows, maybe even an actual shadow drop release.
