The Walking Dead Destinies is a story game from the developers GameMill Entertainment and is published by Flux Games. It’s a narrative game where you’ll encounter many of the well-known characters from the series.
You start the game as Rick Grimes, a character well-known to all fans of the series. You wake up in a hospital surrounded by the undead. Fight your way out of this situation and discover many locations and characters familiar from the series.
Throughout the game, you will have to make some very difficult decisions that can affect the lives of your characters. If you make the wrong decision, it could quickly happen that one of your characters dies.
Your decisions will determine whether the game unfolds like the series for you or if you make choices that completely change the story.
In the game, you will slaughter hordes of zombies in third-person view, and you have a wide range of melee and ranged weapons available so that killing zombies never becomes tedious.
The game has a stress level that each of your characters possesses; if it ever gets too high, it can happen that your characters die, so always make sure they are not exposed to too much stress to keep your crew intact.
The The Walking Dead Destinies will be released on 1st December for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

I was quite intrigued by The Walking Dead Destinies, in particular by the possibility of making your own choices in the game, in order to unfold the story in a different way. At the same time, I was skeptical because out of Telltale’s, other games based on TWD weren’t great. Unfortunately, this one is also full of issues, such as static faces, terrible stealth and other performance problems. I hope the developers fix it, because otherwise the concept sounds great.
