Stormgate Open Beta Playtest Is Live
Frost Giant Studios’ upcoming RTS Stormgate has begun its Open Beta Playtest live on Steam. It’s available to download and play right now until February 12.
Stormgate is described as a “next-gen real-time strategy game” and is set in a science fantasy universe where mechs and demons collide in an epic battle for Earth. From developers who have worked on Warcraft 3 and Starcraft 2, Stormgate is a made-for-PC title that includes 1v1, 3v3, 3-player co-op, and other modes and promises future updates with further game modes, units, and features after launch.
The free-to-play RTS is due to release later this year, but you can download and play it today as part of the Steam Next Fest by downloading its open beta on Steam. Game modes available are 1v1 and 3-player co-op vs AI, with the previously mentioned game modes waiting for you on release day.
The Stormgate Open Beta Playtest ends on February 12 when Steam Next Fest ends, so make sure to grab your friends and try it out for yourselves to find out why 28,143 backers pledged $2,380,701.67 on Kickstarter.
