Call of Duty is the famous Activision shooter series, which has seen a strong revival and interest with the recent Black Ops 6 (BO6). Delviering an exciting campaign set in the Black Ops universe. And continuing the story of Frank Woods and his new team after the events of Cold War.

Praised for its multiplayer aspect and a solid Zombies mode, BO6 is renewed with a crossover with the most popular Netflix series, Squid Game. The new season is now available from 26 December 2024, and themed content is set to arrive in early January.

Squid Game X Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 – The Crossover with the Netflix Series

The crossover announcement was revealed in early December with a short teaser of the collaboration. Finally, on Christmas Day, the crossover between Call of Duty and Squid Game Season 2 was announced. Just in time to celebrate the launch of the much-awaited Netflix series season.

A trailer immediately showcased some of the iconic costumes from Squid Game. From the players’ tracksuits to the pink uniforms of the guards, including the eerie “The Doll.” Not to mention the VIPs and the Front Man. Call of Duty celebrates the launch of Squid Game 2 with an epic crossover.

Squid Game X Call of Duty – Crossover Launch Date

A surprise crossover between CoD and Squid Game releasing on 3rd January 2025. This unique launch marks the beginning of the new year with a crossover available in both Black Ops 6’s online component and Warzone.

We still don’t know all the details about the crossover, but the Call of Duty team has confirmed some features. These include a limited-time mode, Operators, weapon blueprints, and much more. A very special start to 2025, while you can also enjoy the six episodes of Squid Game Season 2 on Netflix.
