Patch 1.01 for Rust is now live on Xbox and PlayStation and brings with it performance and other fixes ahead of its launch later this month.

RUST CONSOLE EDITION PATCH 1.01 – 1.02


 

PlayStation and Xbox players have recently been playing the beta for Rust. With the game moving into Early Access, developers Double Eleven have released patch 1.01 and are looking to release patch 1.02.

The patches look to fix performance issues on the Xbox Series X|S consoles caused due to the game’s backward compatibility mode.

The developers have also worked on fixing the bug that was causing full server kicks. However, individual kicks can still happen.

Oh, and PlayStation users can now stream the game. They have finally got around to removing the NDA and the lock on the platform.

Below are a few highlights of the fixes in the newest patches.

Rust Console Patch 1.01 – 1.02 Patch Notes:

  • Auto-sprint now fixed.
  • Doors can now be placed – a bug prevented this in a specific region.
  • Missing Furnace and SMG skins now show.
  • Fixed crash caused by selecting a server as favorite.
  • Players can no longer walk around on the death screen.
