Fallout Revelation Blues is a project by the United West Team modders group. A team passionate about the Fallout series, aiming to bring Fallout 3 Van Buren to Fallout New Vegas.
Van Buren was the third chapter that was supposed to come from Black Isle Studios, the original developers of the series, before being canceled with the closure of the team and Interplay. It left behind an initial build and over 700 pages of leaked design documentation. Many fans have tried to bring Van Buren to life over the years, including the more recent effort by United West Team.
Fallout Revelation Blues: Demo Announced for the Fallout New Vegas Mod
The United West Team modders announced on March 1st, 2025, the demo for Fallout Revelation Blues. An Overhaul Mod aiming to bring Fallout Van Buren to Fallout New Vegas, offering a conversion of the CRPG adventure with the Fallout experience by Bethesda. They specifically chose the ideal New Vegas by Obsidian as the base.
The team offers a demo set in 2253, 12 years after the events of Fallout 2, featuring a small preview at Burham Springs, with some factions that fans of New Vegas will recognize.
Fallout Revelation Blues: Development and What the Demo Offers from Van Buren
Revelation Blues is a fan project by the United West Team, consisting of over 20 members, including modders, writers, artists, and even voice actors. United by their passion for Fallout, the project was first introduced on April 31st, 2021. The demo was revealed on December 31st, 2024, and is available starting March 1st, 2025, on Nexus Mod.

As mentioned by the team, to play this demo, you’ll need Fallout New Vegas, specifically the Ultimate Edition or all DLCs except for Courier’s Stash. The demo takes place in the small mining town of Burham Springs, once under NCR control but abandoned after a terrible accident. Here, you’ll meet the few remaining locals and familiar faces like NCR, Powder Gangers, and the Brotherhood of Steel.
