Outcast: A New Beginning – Rediscover the Sci-Fi Classic in 60 Seconds
Awaiting with excitement the arrival of the sequel to Outcast, Outcast: A New Beginning, THQ Nordic, acting as the publisher for Appeal Studios, has released a short 60-second trailer condensing everything there is to know about the new chapter of Outcast. Coming on 15th March to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Outcast: A New Beginning – What We Know
This highly anticipated sequel to Outcast, released back in 1999, brings us back to the planet of Adelpha, inhabited by anthropomorphic aliens called Talan. Once again stepping into the shoes of Cutter Slade, many years after the events of the first game, canonically set in 2007. Cutter has been brought back to life by the powerful Yods to once again aid the Talan. Adelpha has been invaded by alien robotic forces who have enslaved the local population with the goal of extracting all of the planet’s resources.
As Slade, we’ll be able to re-explore Adelpha, with a modern graphical style. Enhanced exploration with new gadgets such as the jetpack and wingsuit, to move at high speeds but also to use them in intense combat, with many conventional and unconventional weapons. We’ll also receive help from the Talan with airstrikes, unlocking and assisting the population in driving away the alien forces and restoring peace to the planet.

There’s less than a week left until the official launch of Outcast: A New Beginning, as the launch will take place on March 15, 2024.
