Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct presentation offered us some big announcements on games such as Splatoon 3, Mario Golf: Super Rush, and the Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s hype was around the rumor that the game would see a new playable character. Well, it got two. Pyra and Mytha from Xenoblade Chronicles are joining the roster. The DLC is expected to launch in March.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing: New Horizons gets an absolute treat as the game will see Mario-themed skins and items added to the game, including usable warp pipes. Finally, no more walking.

Mario Golf: Super Rush
Sticking with Mario, Mario Golf: Super Rush was officially announced, and will come with multiple game modes, including Speed Golf and Story Mode. The game will launch June 25, 2021.

Fans of the hugely popular Splatoon franchise will have a little bit of time to wait for the newest one, but the hype is already growing with it announced for some time in 2022.
