The 2K team has finally revealed the contents of the new NBA 2K25, the latest edition of the professional basketball-themed sports game. With a trailer on 11th July showing us the faces of the players who will appear on the game covers. And with the release date set for 6th September 2024, we have decided to analyze each edition to recommend you the most suitable one, of course at a cheaper price!
There are fundamentally 3 editions of NBA 2K25. We have the classic Standard Edition, an All-Star Edition that includes some additional content for the online component, and a Hall of Fame Edition that offers some extra perks for big fans of the game and the NBA.
In addition to these 3 editions, there is also an alternative to the Standard Edition, the WNBA Edition. A physical edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S exclusive to North America and Canada that offers an alternative cover featuring champion A’ja Wilson. It’s the first time a WNBA player has been featured on the cover of an NBA 2K game.

But that’s not all because, at a cost of 149.99€, you’ll get 12 months of NBA League Pass. The subscription to watch all the NBA live, which normally costs 159.99€ per year (or 19.99€ per month). Effectively saving 10€ and getting the ultimate edition of NBA 2K25. With a cover featuring the legendary Vince Carter.
NBA 2K25 brings an improved version of the game on all fronts compared to 2K24, not only with updated lineups of NBA teams and players but also with a WNBA scene that continues to grow every year. With a MyCareer and MyTeam mode that will surely take up a large part of the gaming experience, allowing you to create your dream team and climb the rankings.
