The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster, although not officially announced, has now got a release date coming from Xbox Support.

The chatter around the long-rumored The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remaster is now bigger than ever. Just when fans thought the only treat they’d get were the leaked screenshots, it actually got even better. And this time, it’s not from a leaker or an insider dropping breadcrumbs.
The new info is straight from Xbox.
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion Remastered Release Date Revealed by Xbox
When the leaked Oblivion Remastered screenshots made the rounds, they weren’t alone. Alongside the visuals came claims that the game would launch day-one on Xbox Game Pass.
But things got confusing when Microsoft revealed the Wave 2 Game Pass lineup for April and the game was nowhere on the list. That led fans to one of two conclusions. Either the shadow drop was still in play or the release had quietly been delayed.
Now, a new twist has emerged and it points to the shadow drop being very real.
An X user by the name of Raven posted a series of screenshots showing his conversation with Xbox Support, where the representative clearly stated that Oblivion Remastered would be releasing on April 21st and would be available on Game Pass at launch. Since skepticism runs high in the gaming community, Raven also shared a screen recording of the interaction for good measure.

Not long after, other users followed suit, reaching out to Xbox Support themselves and received the same confirmation.
However, the story gets a little murkier when it comes to the game’s DLC. Initially, support reps indicated that all DLC would be included in the Game Pass version. But as more users reached out, conflicting messages began. Some were told that only the base game would be included in Game Pass, and the DLC would be part of a paid Deluxe Edition. This to be fair, sounds more likely.

With more and more gamers jumping into the conversation, Xbox Support may have realized they had tipped their hand a bit too early. Reports started surfacing that newer interactions with support reps now result in much more cautious replies with no confirmation and no launch date. Towards the end, it just says, “As soon as there is confirmed information, it will be shared publicly.”
Well, it looks like that’s the end of the unofficial leak trail for now. Unless another surprise drops sooner, all signs now point to April 21st as the big day.
