Get ready, hunters! Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 is confirmed for two action-packed weekends this February!

Monster Hunter Wilds is due to release on February 28, but before we get to play the full game, Capcom is hosting another set of Open Beta just ahead of its release.

The first MHW open beta went live in the last week of October, with an early access exclusive for Playstation Plus subscribers. Now, the gaming giant is ready to get more players to experience the much-awaited title, early and for free!

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta 2 Schedule

The second Open Beta for Monster Hunter Wilds will be hosted in 2 weekends: Feb 6th/7th and Feb 13th/12th, depending on location. While the first beta had an early access for PS Plus subscribers, there will be none this time. Here is the schedule for when it goes live again:

  • 1st Weekend:
    • US (PT): 7 PM, February 6 to 6:59 PM, February 9
    • US (ET): 10 PM, February 6 to 9:59 PM, February 9
    • UK (GMT): 3 AM, February 7 to 2:59 AM, February 10
    • Europe (CET): 4 AM, February 7 to 3:59 AM, February 10
  • 2nd Weekend:
    • US (PT): 7 PM, February 13 to 6:59 PM, February 16
    • US (ET): 10 PM, February 13 to 9:59 PM, February 16
    • UK (GMT): 3 AM, February 14 to 2:59 AM, February 17
    • Europe (CET): 4 AM, February 14 to 3:59 AM, February 17

Like the first one, participants will receive special bonuses which include a decorative weapon charm for your weapon or Seikret, and an item pack. These can be redeemed in the full game.


Monster Hunter Wilds Free

As per the official announcement, it will be the same as the first beta but with the addition of Gypceros. It further stated that no “adjustments including performance, weapon changes, Hitstop, quality of life improvements and more will not be present or reflected”.

The first Monster Hunter Wilds open beta, for the most part, was rough on the edges but provided loads of laughter to the gamers. Hopefully though, it will be a different story when the full game is out, especially being that it is a paid game afterall.
