Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater, the much-awaited remake of the 2004 game Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater, has been making the rounds as information about its release date was leaked. We recently reported on the matter and since then, more has come to light to support it.
Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater Release Date Leaked
It’s a big year for Metal Gear fans as Delta Snake Eater seems to be set to release this year, specifically on August 28, 2025. This was first seen on the game’s Playstation Store page which listed the release date. It has since been removed, together with the trailer that shows the same. But, not before the source was saved.
So in case you missed it, you can still watch the trailer previously posted on the Playstation Store, as reported by Gematsu. With the PS State of Play rumored to go live on Feb 14, many fans expect the official announcement and the release of this trailer to be made then.
Also supporting the August 28th date is a merch listing on the official Konami Shop, first spotted by X user, Wario64. The picture has since been taken down but, like the trailer, not before it was saved. The screenshot shows the rumored release date of 28/8/2025. Although this particular picture was removed, the merch in question is still listed on the store.
