The latest Halo Infinite update, Operation: Brute Force, is now live, bringing exciting new content and rewards to the free-to-play shooter. Operation: Brute Force launched with a new trailer and runs from January 7 to February 4.

Halo Infinite has all-new playlists and modes as Operation: Brute Force launches on 343’s free-to-play shooter. The update adds the Castle Wars playlist, a new 20-tier Operation Pass, and an evolved Capture the Flag mode.

Operation: Brute Force is the last winter update for Halo Infinite, giving players a chance to unlock unique Brute-inspired rewards. The Brute Force event runs January 7 through February 4, with players able to jump in and join the fun right now.

What’s New in Operation: Brute Force?

Operation: Brute Force switches up the traditional CTF game mode into an epic 8v8 game mode. Castle Wars sees two teams go head-to-head to raid each other’s castle in “hit-and-run strikes.” As part of the mode, there are several new community-made maps, including Gothic, Harvesters, Sunken and the neon-lit Promenade.

Coming later in the month is Action Sack, a recognizable mode that is still played in the Halo: Master Chief Collection. In the new Operation Pass, players can unlock the Brute-inspired Dominar and Wild Slant armor pieces. The premium pass offers up bonus XP and the Vicious Hydra weapon for those who complete it. Operation: Brute Force is live now and ends on February 4.
