Gamescom 2024: New Exhibitors Confirmed & Opening Night

Gamescom 2024 is approaching fast. Many international exhibitors have already signed up for Gamescom and will be present. Today, we want to show you which exhibitors will be at Gamescom, as well as some significant cancellations. You’ll find all that and more here.

Which Exhibitors Will Be at Gamescom 2024

Gamescom 2024, held in Cologne, Germany, is going to be huge again. This year, 10% more exhibitors have registered compared to last year. Unfortunately, some major gaming companies like Nintendo and Sony PlayStation have cancelled. However, even without these giants, Gamescom will not be boring at all.

Some of the most well-known developers and publishers will be present at Gamescom this year. Hardware producers and many more will also be there, including: “2K, 9gag, aerosoft, Amazon Games, AMD, astragon, Bandai Namco, Bethesda, Bilibili, Blizzard, Capcom, Electronic Arts, ESL FACEIT Group, Focus Entertainment, GIANTS Software, Hoyoverse, Konami, Krafton, Lego, Level Infinite, Meta Quest, NetEase Games, Nexon, Pearl Abyss, PLAION, Rocket Beans Entertainment, SEGA, SK Gaming, Square Enix, Team 17, The Pokémon Company, THQ Nordic, TikTok, Ubisoft, Xbox”.

What’s New at Gamescom 2024

Besides the video game exhibitors, there will be some new features this year. There will be a Social Stage featuring card and board games as well as an Artist Area. Here, artists will have the opportunity to sell their artworks, mainly focusing on gaming artworks. In the board and card game area, Hasbro, Konami, Pegasus Spiele, and Ravensburger will be present.

Gamescom Opening Night Live

Gamescom Opening Night Live will take place on Tuesday, August 20, hosted by Geoff Keighley. You will see new game announcements and trailer/gameplay reveals. Tickets can be purchased on the Gamescom Website for €34 per person. However, a maximum of 2 tickets can be purchased per user. Tickets are limited to 5,000. Last year, there were only 2,000 tickets, so this Opening Night will be much larger than last year. If you want to get tickets, you have to be quick.
