Here’s the first wave of games leaving Xbox Game Pass for October 2024. An initial list of 5 games has been confirmed to depart in the first half of the month.

Games Leaving Game Pass October 2024

Alongside the announcement for games joining Xbox Game Pass this month, is the reveal of the ones leaving the service too. This initial list includes five games, one of which would have been a great game to play over Halloween.

It is quite odd that Microsoft is letting go of Scorn and Playstation Plus let go of The Evil Within when these two games would have been perfect for the spooky season. If there’s any consolation, both catalogs are big so surely there are other horror games fit for the occasion.

The wave 1 pack is led by Everspace 2 and F1 Manager 2023, both highly-rated games. Finishing both is possible but is a bit of a stretch unless you’re locking yourself in your room over the next two weekends. The former is estimated to be completed in 70-80 hours while the latter is at 40-50 hours.

Same goes if you’re jumping in the Dyson Sphere Program, another highly-rated title. Like many sim games, this will take a lot of hours. In fact, about 250 hours. So if you haven’t played the three aforementioned titles, you’re going to have to choose carefully.

If you’re after a quick one and just piling up achievements though, Scorn is your game. It is estimated to get all 12 Scorn achievements in just under 6 hours.
