Forza Horizon 5 – 90s Nostalgia with the New Update

With the October update of Forza Horizon 5, the Playground Games team takes us back to the 90s. Featuring a substantial themed update titled “Back to the 90’s,” it introduces a new Festival Playlist with themed races and challenges. Incluing outfits, new achievements for Hide & Seek mode, and 4 Prize Cars to redeem.

Showcased in a short trailer featuring the 4 Prize Cars, all presented with a retro VHS-style for that nostalgic touch. The update, styled like a 90s sitcom, is one not to be missed and launched on 10 October 2024.

Forza Horizon 5 – Discover Horizon Backstage and the 90s Prize Cars

Additionally, the team confirms the return of Horizon Backstage, the exclusive pass allowing the unlocking of prize cars from previous Festival Playlists. It costs 1,000 Forzathon Points in the Forzathon Shop or 40 PTS from the Festival Playlist Seasonal Reward. You can claim up to 2, with the community’s most-voted cars being distributed starting in November.

Meanwhile, enjoy unlocking 4 free new cars during “Back to the 90’s” by completing seasonal challenges and earning at least 20 PTS weekly. These iconic cars will be redeemable weekly, namely:

  • Toyota Soarer 2.5 GT-T (1996) – 10-17 October “Summer”
  • Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R (1997) – 17-24 October “Autumn”.
  • Aston Martin Lagonda (1990) – 24-31 October “Winter”
  • Subaru SVX (1998) – 31 October – 7 November “Spring”
