FIFA 22 releases on October 1, and in this article, we explore its different editions to help you know which one to buy.

FIFA 22 is available to pre-order now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, PC, and Google Stadia and is available in a Standard and Ultimate Edition.
FIFA 22 EDITIONS
Standard Edition

- Team of the Week Player Item – Select an untradeable player from Team of the Week 1 for your FIFA Ultimate Team.
- FUT Ambassador Loan Player – Choose from David Alaba, Son Heung-min, and Phil Foden as a loan player for your FUT for three matches.
- Homegrown Talent in Career Mode – A highly-rated young player that you can promote to your first team to play or sell.
- Kylian Mbappé Loan Item – Gain Kylian Mbappé on loan for your FUT for five matches.
ULTIMATE EDITION
The FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition comes with everything in the Standard Edition and the following bonus items:
- 4 Days Early Access – Play the game from September 27, 2021.

FIFA is the best football game by far. The basic edition is good and the other editions only for fewer people that want the specific benefits. Discord Ro H.#1538
Since FIFA is a yearly series I would also advice to just go for the Standard Edition.
The only exception I see would be if you currently play on a last gen console and plan to upgrade some time in the future, but just not yet and you’d like to play FIFA 22 as soon as it comes out.
In this case the “Dual Entitlement” becomes quite handy.
