The countdown to Fatal Fury City of Wolves is on with the game officially launching on April 24, 2025. But before the full release, some players already had the chance to get a taste of the action during the first open beta in February.

That initial beta gave participants access to three online modes, an offline tutorial, and a roster of eight playable characters. It was a solid preview of what’s to come, and fans were eager for more. Fortunately, SNK isn’t stopping there as a second open beta is on the way!

Fatal Fury City of the Wolves Second Open Beta: Dates and What’s New

SNK has officially revealed the dates for the second open beta of Fatal Fury City of Wolves, giving players another opportunity to try out the game. Whether you participated in February’s beta or are jumping in for the first time, you’ll be able to experience more of what the game has to offer. The beta will run from March 27 to March 31, and this time, it expands on the content available in the first test.

For online play, the beta will now feature five modes including a leaderboard system and an online profile feature. These additions will give players more ways to engage and track their progress while facing off against others.

Offline modes are also getting an upgrade. In addition to the tutorial, this beta introduces Training Mode and Classic Versus Mode, which were not included in the first test. These will give players more freedom to practice and battle offline.

The character roster is also growing. This time around, Tizoc joins the lineup, increasing the number of playable fighters to nine.
