EA Sports NHL 20 and 2 More Games Shutting Down In September

EA Sports NHL 20 together with 2 more games will shut down their server in September. Here are all the dates to note for the shut down.

We’ve already seen a few server shutdowns and delistments this year but 2024 isn’t done yet. In fact September, which initially had just one server shutdown, is now having 3 in total with a recent announcement by Xbox.

EA Sports NHL 20 Server Shuts Down

Get your affairs in order because you have two weeks left to get NHL 20 achievements. Early this year, EA announced that all NHL 20 servers will officially go offline on September 16, 2024. Meaning, you also have that time left to earn all 22 online-only achievements from this game.

The announcement gave players ample time to do this but considering the busy year of big game releases and multiple server shutdowns, it was hard to keep track on what to do first.

This is why some gamers who have yet to get these achievements are now going on Reddit or joining NHL 20 Gaming Sessions to work on some multiplayer achievements.




Other server shutdowns for this month were confirmed by Xbox which includes Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem which will lose all its online functionality on September 3, and WWE 2K23 which will shutdown September 30. The latter has 13 achievements you can get in both the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S version (both are being discontinued).
