EA has dropped a new trailer for EA Sports FC 25, this time an official gameplay deep dive into the features. This year, EA has introduced FC IQ, smart tactics, and player roles in a massive overhaul of tactical systems that will give players more control of their squad.
Expect more of the highly-competitive and authentic gameplay of FC 24, but EA has focused on these n new systems in the latest deep dive trailer, which you can watch below.
FC IQ is the new tactical and positional system which will control the new Player Roles, Smart Tactics, and Team Tactics across all game modes. The system gives players better strategic control during matches, while a new AI system will influence how players think and behave on the pitch, powered by real-world data.
The new overhauled Team Tactics means teams and players will now play like their real-world counterparts in both attacking and defending. The goal is to make every match in EA Sports FC 25 feel unique.
Another new feature of FC IQ is the Player Roles system. EA has added more than 50 new Player Roles. Each role gives players improved tactical intelligence on and off the ball. Again, Player Roles is powered by real-world data, meaning players in a familiar role will have an increased performance.
The new Team Tactics overhaul improves the football IQ of every player, meaning your players will act like real-world pro footballers. And, as the match unfolds, the new Smart Tactics gives you more control with an intuitive system. This includes a new substitution menu, animated chalkboard and AR visuals, tactical suggestions, and new tactics-specific commentary.
FC IQ will not just be present during matches in EA Sports FC 25 but also in Career Mode. FC IQ will influence how you build your squad by shaking up transfers, scouting, and your youth academy. These new core systems have made EA Sports FC 25 the most realistic football game we’ve ever seen.
