Dragon Ball Z Legendary Narrator Doc Harris Dies At 76

Legendary voice actor and broadcaster, Doc Harris, whose one of his great works is the English dub narration for Dragon Ball Z, dies at 76.

Dragon Ball Z has spanned many generations and has gotten to be one of the household names in the anime world, across the globe. People may know all the characters’ names but few knew the people behind it. But if there was one voice actor that was on top of the list, it would be Doc Harris. Well in the English-speaking world that is.

The legendary actor was the voice behind the English dub narration of Dragon Ball Z. He appeared in over 200 episodes, and is popularly known for his iconic “We’ll see you next time on Dragon Ball Z.” line at the end of the episodes.

Born as Gilbert Auchinleck, Doc Harris was a popular Canadian host who started out on radio in 1971. He eventually got into acting and has appeared in numerous cartoons and video games. He passed away on October 5 at the age of 76. Many industry personalities and media outlets have published tributes to commemorate his works.
