Discover Lovestruck, the New Expansion for The Sims 4

Finally, Maxis team has announced the arrival of the new Expansion for their popular The Sims 4 with The Sims 4 Lovestruck. An expansion already noted by some in the Season of Love roadmap for The Sims 4 but now officially confirmed by the team, with a release date rather soon, and some bonuses for those who purchase the expansion.

With a Premiere broadcasted on 28th June 2024, the Maxis and Electronic Arts team finally announces the new game expansion for The Sims 4, the popular fourth installment of the life simulation and management series. A series that has seen great success in recent years with the decision to make the base game free to play and continue support with expansions and additional paid content.

Titled Lovestruck, this new expansion adds romantic-themed game content, further expanding interactions between various Sims. All thanks to the introduction of the Cupid’s Corner dating app. An app that will allow creating romantic stories for our Sims. There will also be the introduction of Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs mechanics that determine the attraction value between various Sims and will influence their long-term relationships. There will also be new types of more intimate interactions, as well as romantic moonlit dates in the new area Ciudad Enamorada, which adds 3 districts where Sims can spend time as a couple or even find new companions.


Release date of The Sims 4 Lovestruck and free content for purchasers

Initially indirectly mentioned in the Season of Love roadmap in May, and with some leaks a few weeks ago, the team finally announced on 28 June 2024, the Lovestruck DLC for The Sims 4. The DLC will officially be released on 25 July 2024, for all platforms compatible with The Sims 4, namely PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

But that’s not all, those who decide to purchase the expansion before September 5 will receive some cosmetic game content as a gift, namely:
