Blizzard announces Diablo Immortal for PC which gives hope for a console release.

DIABLO IMMORTAL RELEASE DATE
Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play MMORPG built for iOS and Android mobile devices.
Initially revealed as a mobile-exclusive title, Diablo Immortal received criticism from Diablo fans, who described it as a “slap in the face” to players.
Blizzard has backtracked on their initial plans and revealed that Diablo Immortal will release on PC.
Clarifying their decision, Blizzard said they chose to release Diablo Immortal on PC as they believed players would “attempt to play this game through an emulator” anyway.
The PC version will feature an upscaled HUD and standard left-click to move and attack controls.
However, interestingly, Blizzard has also added WASD controls and controller support, which has fans of the series optimistic that they could see the game on consoles.
Blizzard has not said Diablo Immortal would be available for consoles, but it already looks like it will be different from other Diablo games.
Diablo Immortal will launch on 2 June on iOS and Android and release into PC open beta on the same day.
