Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred and Season 6 will both launch on October 8. Get to know when to preload and the launch time for all platforms.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred has had a big build up leading to its upcoming launch on October 8. And now that we are one week away from it, Blizzard has released when you can start preloading the game and when exactly it unlocks on launch day. The following information does not only apply for Vessel of Hatred expansion but also for Diablo 4 Season 6 release on the same day.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Preload and Download Size

Although Vessel of Hatred will launch across all platforms simultaneously, Battlenet players have perks only they can enjoy. Case in point, the very early download of the game. If you are playing via the said platform, you can preload the game already as it started September 30 4PM PT / October 1 1AM CET.

As for Playstation and Xbox users, you can start to preload the game on October 5 4PM PT / October 6 1AM CET. Unfortunately for Steam users, the download won’t be possible until launch day.

As per multiple users who have finished preloading the DLC, it comes up to almost 40GB download size with the high-resolution asset pack. But if you do without it, it’s only 20GB.

While the console version has yet to open its preloading, rumors are that it can go up to 85GB, depending on the platform.
