Over the years, Deep Rock Galactic has grown from a cult co-op hit into one of the most beloved multiplayer experiences around. With its unique blend of first-person shooter action, procedural cave exploration, and good ol’ dwarf-fueled chaos, the game has built a rock-solid fanbase and racked up stellar reviews along the way. Now, with not just one, but two standalone spinoffs on the horizon, fans have a lot to be excited about.

Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core Playtest Signups

During the recently held Triple-i Initiative showcase, Deep Rock Galactic fans finally got a juicy update on the next spinoff, Deep Rock Galactic Rogue Core. Not only did Ghost Ship Games drop a brand-new trailer, but they also announced a closed alpha playtest with signups already live on Steam.

According to the official Steam post, you can now request access to the Rogue Core playtest directly from the game’s Steam page but of course signing up doesn’t guarantee entry. No hard date for the playtest has been revealed yet but the team is targeting a launch window within the month.

To help answer the inevitable flood of questions, Ghost Ship Games also confirmed that a dedicated FAQ blog post is on the way next week which will include more details on what to expect from the alpha test and how the selection process will work.
