Cyberpunk 2077 Transforms Into a Survival Game

A mod for Cyberpunk 2077 will have V looking out for his health. The mod is called Live in Night City, and it’s created by FonWasH.
The mod manages V’s thirst, hunger, and fatigue. With Live in Night City installed, V’s actions will have several consequences like when he eats, his hunger decreases, but digesting food will cause him fatigue. When he drinks alcohol, his fatigue decreases, but his thirst increases.
There are other ways for V to decrease his fatigue, and the obvious one is sleeping in his apartment. He can also rest on the sofa, or take a shower to not only decrease his fatigue but also his thirst.
As mentioned, there will be penalties if one of his needs are not met. FonWasH lists these as follows:
Thirst – Penalty on total stamina and total memory (this can kill you on hard difficulty)
Hunger – Penalty on total health (this can kill you on hard difficulty)
Fatigue – Penalty on critical hit chance and stamina regeneration. And you can get flashes or a system malfunction (on hard and normal difficulty you can also be stunned or fall to the ground)
Aside from those mentioned, FonWasH shared a roadmap for possible future content for the survival mod including translations, more locations to rest/sleep, drug use, sound effects, and more.
