Get to play as Jacob Lee, a victim of fate placed into Black Iron Prison. Black Iron is a maximum-security jail located on Jupiter’s moon called Callisto. Jacob must survive by fighting his way out of the prison while investigating the dark and horrific secrets buried beneath the surface. Jacob must be quick to adapt in his ways because the monstrous creatures are rapidly changing. Scavenge for new weapons and gear. Build your skills in shooting and close-quarters combat to escape the horrors of Jupiter’s Dead Moon.
A spiritual successor to Dead Space that blends and riffs on ideas from the best horror games of recent years, with plenty of blood and guts to go around, though a lacklustre plot is its one minor flaw.
Overall, The Callisto Protocol is a third-person shooter set on the moon of Jupiter with a horror and suspense-based story. Including well-known actors to aid the story was a good choice as it gets you more connected with them. While the PC port originally had some issues with stability, the issue seems to have been mostly corrected at this point and is playing well on my PC.

Really disappointed by this game, purchased via Steam for 28 euros, I found a game with minimal gameplay, really disappointing game choices, the setting is really captivating but the paucity of the gameplay (important thing imho) prevented me from taking it to term, I tried, I really did, but the annoyance of having to inevitably suffer damage, broken checkpoints and a non-existent combat system prevented me from doing so. if it costs less than 10 euros, it’s worth a try… even 5

Dead Space fans seemed disappointed by the game. I also don’t like horror games, so yeah it’s just not my type of game.
So you give it 2 stars just for the sake of it. Without even playing it or anything….WOW!
I’m looking forward to uncovering the secrets behind this game. The story seems very interesting and the visuals look very cool too!
