Respawn have done an amazing job creating an adventure Star Wars fans cannot miss. This is the game we’ve been waiting for many years, and we are not disappointed. There are some flaws, although the experience, overall, is fantastic.

Absolutely rock solid combat, easily comparable to the likes of Sekiro and Dark Souls in the best ways possible. Button mashing won't get you where you want here, unless where you want to be is in a heap next to the nearest stormtrooper. Enemies are intelligent to a fault and work together which leads to some very nice combat encounters. The gameplay loop and progression is enough to keep you entertained without feeling the boredom of repetition, and the enemy variety is quite nicely paced: You are introduced to a new enemy in a controlled environment, then you fight it again in a bigger battle, and its slowly integrated into normal combat from then on. My only complaint is that I wish ranged units were more of a threat, as they tend to go down to parried shots before the melee enemies even get in range even on the highest difficulty, but that's something I'm sure not a lot of people will find issue with.
