Minecraft Dungeons is an isometric action RPG a spin-off of the popular Minecraft franchise reminiscent of games like Diablo and Torchlight franchise, in the game you play as a brave hero trying to stop the evil and cruel Arch-illager from taking over the overworld. The Arch-illager was once a normal villager named Archie before he turned evil, he was shunned in his home village. He left the village eventually and wandered off into the overworld until he stumbled upon an artifact with immense power, the “orb of dominance” using it he united the Illager tribes into one banner. But the Orb has its price in exchange for great power The Arch-illager’s mind became warped and twisted he dreamed that whole world to fear him not unless our heroes have something to say about it.

All in all, Minecraft Dungeons is a lot of fun. Coming from more of a Diablo background, I wasn’t sure how well the simplified mechanics would jive with me, but I was pleasantly surprised. Everything about Minecraft Dungeons, from the enemies to the environments to the increased emphasis on higher-quality items, oozes a charming Minecraft feel.
