Hatred is a good twin-stick shooter that manages to offer an interesting experience only through the actual theme. Besides that, however, it’s not something outstanding. Developer Destructive Creations could have transformed its targets into zombies or civilians and escape the controversy, but it stuck to its initial idea, and while it’s not executed all that well in terms of story, it deserves recognition.
Leaving the controversy at the door, Hatred is a solid 90’s isometric action game, with 80’s horror cheese, and cringe inducing parodying of what is considered edgy.
There’s nothing really special about Hatred. It’s a twin-stick shooter. It has guns in it. It has objectives. Most of the time those objectives involve acting like a menace to society or blowing stuff up. It doesn’t have anything new to bring to the table, or anything interesting to say about the genre. You can go back to yelling at it now if you want.

This game tries to be a successor to first Postal game but drowns in it's over-the-top edginess and boring gameplay. Postal is free on Steam, just play it instead
an underrated game that'll never get a sequel as confirmed by devs. 3/5 because devs nerfed crouching then pat our butts and left. literally impossible to complete downtown lvl with that nerf unless your lucky
Hatred is certainly not the best game and you have to like monochrome, but it is let off steam despite its difficulty.
This game is violent as much as many developers would not go this far. But wish there were some kind of DLC for EXTRA violence, just to step up moore, would like: more gore and violent finishes, hand to meele weapons, silenced range - harpoon or xbow weapon.
I would buy this game from kinguin or G2A. Reliable and fast. Hatred is a nice shooter. It's really violent though, so not for the faint-harted. Enjoy!
