Dragon’s Dogma fans rejoice! This second entry in the series, as much a remake as it is a sequel, absolutely nails everything it sets out to achieve. You can feel the desire to perfect every aspect of the game that we got in 2012 here, with slicker combat, a more engaging pawn system, an incredible world stuffed full of amazing beasties and a general vibe that just begs you to slow down, take your time, and enjoy the majestic adventure ahead.
After multiple tens of hours playing, you may still find yourself unable to put Dragon’s Dogma 2 down – one more quest, one more fight, and then an hour or two has passed. If you liked the first game, or if you are looking for an action RPG with epic fights, then Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a must-have.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is an open-world role-playing game set in a fantasy world. You can fully customise your character and the way you play, and you can be accompanied. Some of the creatures you meet are sublime and can be mounted. But the game also has its problems: a rather empty map with only 2 major cities, an inventory that fills up quickly, a story that really struggles to convince… A good RPG at a discount price, but not at full price.
A story-driven, action RPG with a fantasy setting that offers players great freedom in customization and build options, rewarding creativity and different approaches to combat. Create your own Arisen and explore the world with a party of AI controlled Pawns by completing quests and defeating epic monsters. Dragon’s Dogma 2 received some negative feedback regarding micro-transactions but they aren’t game changing so you’ll still be able to enjoy the full experience without them.
Dragon’s Dogma 2, a controversial RPG that is bouncing between players appreciating its gameplay and haiting microtransactions. Some of the features are locked behind a paywall, which of course didn’t help it to receive more positive feedback. But, if we put this issue aside, the game is fun, challenging and overall a solid title in this genre.
