Dragon Ball: The Breakers is a 1 vs 7 online asymmetrical multiplayer game where a band of seven humans tries to escape the raider’s grasp (classic DBZ villains such as Cell, Frieza, and Buu) developed by Dimps Corporation. Caught in an unexpected phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a temporal seam they share this imprisonment with a less than cooperative raider an enemy from another timeline with overwhelming power. Their only hope for survival is to break out of the Seam with a Super Time Machine but the raider is on your tracks and will become stronger every minute, it’s a race against time will the cunning of the survivors free them or will they be broken by the power of the raider?

• Playing as a Raider you will have overwhelming powers to hunt down and wipe out the survivors you are trapped with. Master each of the unique raider’s abilities to track and catch your victims in order to evolve and become even more powerful.
• As a Survivor, you will be able to explore large maps composed of several different areas, but be careful the raiders will always be close to your trail and may destroy areas to reduce places where you can hide, making your chances of escape slimmer. Take advantage of vehicles, weapons, and capsules in order to outsmart the raider and escape the temporal stream.
• Whether you’re a raider or a survivor you can choose your own progression system unlocking skills, skins, and items to fine-tune your own personal strategy to escape as a survivor or win as a raider.

Dragonball: The Breakers is fun to play in short bursts, but might be somewhat lacking for players looking for a tense experience like Dead By Daylight. Hardcore fans of the franchise may have some fun trying to evade iconic villains like Frieza or obliterate entire sections of the map as Majin Buu, but anyone else should probably look elsewhere for a genuinely chilling asymmetrical survival title.

This take on the asymmetrical multiplayer genre makes sense and there’s some appreciable execution outside of it simply being a Dragon Ball game, but it’s hard to see The Breakers really grabbing players thanks to its dearth of content, multiple grinds, and matches that start to feel a bit too familiar once you get past the new player experience.
