Two rival assassins are stuck in a loop on an island called the Blackreef. As Colt, you would want to break the loop and you can do so by killing eight targets before the day is over. The other assassin, Julianna, wants to keep the loop going, so her main purpose is to kill you.

Groundhog day as an Arkane shooter game, what more can I say?
Deathloop, developed by Arkane Studios, is a captivating and innovative action game that pushes the boundaries of the genre. With its stylish visuals, intricate gameplay mechanics, and an intriguing time-loop premise, Deathloop offers an unforgettable experience that keeps players hooked from start to finish. One of the standout features of Deathloop is its unique time-loop mechanic. Players assume the role of Colt, trapped in a time loop on the mysterious island of Blackreef. The goal is to break the cycle by assassinating key targets before the day resets, but here's the twist: a rival assassin, Julianna, is constantly on your tail, trying to protect the loop. This dynamic creates an ever-present tension and a cat-and-mouse gameplay loop that keeps you on your toes, strategizing and adapting with each iteration.
Arkane's games are rarely asceptized, and look nothing like the competition's. At least in terms of their identity. Arkane offers here a game that is part of an exercise that has been seen many times before, especially in the world of cinema: the time loop. Halfway between Dishonored and Rage 2, Deathloop transports us to an island where we keep reliving the same day, reappearing on a beach in the early morning. It is a question of breaking this loop. To do this, you have to progress on the map, a semi-open world, where the beginnings will be complicated: you have to be discreet, learn to use the tools at your disposal, infiltration like in Dishonored, and think before acting. You have 3 lives, then you start all over again at 0! But it is easy to recharge these lives in various ways. Then comes the time of the powers ups. We end up running over all the enemies, smashing everything, we enter rather in the Rage phase, with a dynamic, peppy FPS, which offers an original arsenal. All this is wrapped up in relatively zany, offbeat dialogues, and a technical realization that is, let's say, correct, without more. The game tries to get off the beaten track. The mayonnaise tends to take, it's not a masterpiece, but like all Arkane games, Deathloop has its own identity, and it's a good game.
After watching several ingame videos of Deathloop I was convinced to play it. Just by being developed by Arkane Studios, the studio for Prey and Dishonored, I am guaranteed to like it. Thanks to AKS we can get it for less than € 40. [Discord: NicolSulaco#7636]
I'm still not entirely sure what this game is about and I see some technical issue on PC. I will wait for some patches and price cut. The_Patrix#2859
