The best of the 3 Dark Souls for me. The most accomplished in terms of gameplay, with well thought-out bosses that are ever more demanding in terms of learning patterns and reactivity. The map is labyrinthine, with interconnected zones, lots of secrets, shortcuts and points of interest. With hidden bosses and an ever-expanding lore, it’s generally recommended to have played DS1 and DS2 beforehand to get the most out of the game. If you’re not averse to the die and retry genre, go for it.
The third entry in the Dark Souls saga, a punishing RPG that requires patience and good reactions. Combat is faster compared to previous titles and there are many epic boss fights to experience. Superb atmosphere in a grim world filled with hidden lore and enemies to defeat. Dark Souls 3 has some replayability, there are 3 different endings and with each new game plus enemies get stronger.
FromSoftware third entry in the critically acclaimed series of Dark Souls, this new chapter, it pushes the boundaries of hte previous titles to offer an even more fearsome experience.
All the elements typical of the series return, just like the now iconic gaming control scheme based on dodging, parrying and attacking enemies in their weakened state. With more fearsome enemies, expanded game lore and a few QoL improvements there, it’s undeniable that there’s fun to be had.
