Reviews
Where the original release of Cyberpunk 2077 blew me away with so many of its elements, from its immersive, colourful, living city to a story that managed to be irreverent, gritty, and funny while also hitting the right emotional beats throughout, Phantom Liberty and the 2.0 Update heap quality of life improvements and a tense, thrilling, and exceptionally well-written campaign on top. Idris Elba, and indeed the entire cast, do a fantastic job of bringing this new chapter to life. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a masterclass in how to develop DLC

CD Projekt RED has repeated its excellence of great DLC for their RPGs with Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty. Much like with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the developer has crafted a meaningful expansion on the base game. They’ve clearly learned from their mistakes, listened to the community, and expanded the game to provide a larger-than-life experience to its devoted fanbase.

Phantom Liberty is just as much a worthwhile, hefty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077 as Blood and Wine was for The Witcher 3. Coupled with the 2.0 update, it can, at times, feel like a whole new experience, and is a far cry from the game’s tumultuous launch. The thrilling espionage action had me gripped from start to finish, and I’d wager a good amount of Eurodollars that many of you will feel the same.

Phantom Liberty was much more polished than the original game when it was released. And the script is just as polished, with Idris Elba in a very convincing role! The district blends in perfectly with the rest of the map, but it has its own special features and you’re bound to get hooked. It’s challenging, full of content, fast-paced, intriguing and, ultimately, a must-have for anyone who loved Cyberpunk 2077.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting the release of Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Exploring the gritty and lawless district of Dogtown adds a whole new layer of depth to the Cyberpunk universe. The new quests and characters are engaging, and the addition of the Relic skill tree adds even more depth to the gameplay.
As the number of players of this wonderful game continues to grow, CD Projekt presents already the first DLC – Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. In addition to an intriguing new story, this expansion comes with a whole new region to explore. Another interesting aspect is the new skill tree, which certainly refreshes the gameplay.
Phantom Liberty is a big expansion for the game Cyberpunk 2077. It adds some new elements to the core game but also introduces an entirely new area with its own main questline, side content and new characters. For those who wanted more after finishing the main campaign, this is a must. In case you haven’t played it yet, buying the bundle with both the game+expansion is probably the best option if you think this genre is up your alley.
