About Calico

Calico is a casual day-in-the-life community sim game developed by Peachy Keen Games, you are given the important task of rebuilding the town’s cat café and fill it with cute and cuddly creatures, furniture, decorations, and yummy pastries.

• The character creator will allow players to make their own magical person to experience the world through, with plenty of clothing to choose from and collect throughout the game!
• You will encounter many animals, once befriended you can name them and add them to your party following you everywhere and listening to your commands, or send them home to their new home at the café where they can relax and play with any customers who come and visit.
• Your goal is to revitalize the town’s cat café, this isn’t just achieved by bringing in cats and animals alone you will also need to decorate your café with furniture, of different styles, creating a perfect home for your animals.
• Make use of magic potions to break the rules of what is possible and to find what would be most fun. For example, the more to pet potion allows the player to magically turn a single animal “giant-sized” which you can hang out with and possibly ride.

Calico Reviews

Calico is a wonderfully weird and whimsical game. With a few tweaks to the rendering of the game, a few glitch fixes, and the ability to customize the controls, it would be an ideal island to visit for a few hours at a time. If only I could get my Animal Crossing island to have the same atmosphere.

While I’m unlikely to play frequently, the same can’t be said for my teen, who has already swiped my Switch Lite again. Therefore we’re going with a score we can agree on between us and I’m trusting that the development team, who have been incredibly open and responsive to feedback, will continue to work on the issues. As there’s always a patch about to drop, this is something that looks promising – just like Calico.
