Broforce is a shooter adventure fighting game where you defeat terrorism. Enjoy the characters in Broforce and feel nostalgia for the 90s! Reviews

At first glance Broforce may look like a basic side-scroller built on a one-note joke, but there’s a lot more depth to the game than that, both in terms of gameplay and humor. If you like challenging games and are looking for something a little different, then Broforce should be your new bro, bro.

Fine-tuned visuals and audio serve to make its patriotic bent all the more entertaining, and even though performance issues knock the game down a peg for now, there’s not much else that keeps this guilty pleasure of a game from resounding triumphantly like fireworks on the Fourth of July.

The PlayStation 4 port has a few technical issues that aren’t present in the PC version, and they’re not the type you can hand-wave away because the game is entertaining. In each level, a few seconds after spawning, I would suddenly be unable to move or shoot. I thought it was my controller at first, but after some testing and Googling, I found out it’s a widespread glitch.
