Armored Core 6 is an unsympathetic and cold-blooded game. It’s a cup of bitter, black coffee – and thankfully, that suits my palate perfectly. It’s full of moments that make you feel very powerful – in both effortless and hard-fought ways – and moments that make you very, very small. In the face of it all, you’re pushed to overcome the impossible. And you’ll come out on the other end wearing an exhausted, wry smile.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is an utterly unforgettable experience with satisfyingly crunchy combat, a fascinating narrative with surprising twists, and deep customization for mech-heads. If this is the future of Armored Core, then the future is bright indeed.

Armored Core VI is a third-person action game with omni-directional mech battles in vast stages. Your mech can be customized with different parts that change the attacks, movement and battle style. Combat will have a mix of melee and ranged attacks and a good variety of enemies and bosses to defeat.
ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON has caught my attention as an exciting collaboration between Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware. With their combined expertise in mech games and action gameplay, I have high hopes for this upcoming title. The prospect of assembling and customizing our own mechs using a variety of parts and weaponry is thrilling. The freedom to explore mission locales with enhanced three-dimensional mobility sounds like a promising addition to the series. I can already envision the exhilarating moments of outgunning and overrunning enemies with dynamic movement and a combination of ranged and melee combat. The promise of frenetic and fast-paced action is music to my ears, especially when it comes to mechs. I'm eager to experience the intense battles that only these powerful machines can deliver. It's clear that ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON aims to provide an adrenaline-fueled experience that will keep players on the edge of their seats. As a fan of both Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware, I have confidence that this collaboration will result in a high-quality game. I can't wait to see more gameplay footage and delve into the immersive world of ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON. It's shaping up to be an action-packed adventure that fans of the series and mech enthusiasts alike won't want to miss.
From Software may have surprised everyone. But now it's here: Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is here, and after 10 years of silence, it's long overdue (just as Bloodborne 2 is long overdue, but we're dreaming of it). If you like futuristic games with a residual metallic taste on your tongue, if you like industrial architecture, rust and gears 15 times your size... you've come to the right place! Mech battles are at the forefront, and you can call on a variety of different skills: ranged combat with sulfate guns, missiles and other large machines, or hand-to-hand combat (highlighted), but also very high mobility and the preponderance of dodging as a gameplay element, as in other Souls. FS generally pushes us to use several gameplay elements, and not just one: fire a few missiles at a robot, stun it, dash and punch it in the face...? Dynamic gameplay, then (all that's missing is the ability to walk on walls - well, maybe I've been playing too much Titanfall!), and more boss battles than in previous Armored Core games, as the emphasis on unique enemies in the demo and gameplay videos would suggest, which wouldn't surprise us given From Software's games over the past 10 years: boss culture. Multiplayer will be focused exclusively on PvP, with no PvE, at least when the game is released. We're a little apprehensive about the destructibility of the scenery, and hope that the final version will be similar to Armored Core IV, with visual artifacts worthy of 2023.
