15 Games You Shouldn’t Have Missed in 2023
11 months ago | Gaming News The year is ending, and it’s been an incredible year for video games. We’ve been treated to some cracking first-person shooters, RPGs, adventure games, indie games, horrors, and survival games. Join us as we look at 15 games you shouldn’t have missed in 2023.
It doesn’t have the media exposure of an Elden Ring, but we’re talking about it. And more. Armored Core 6 Fires of Rubicon is From Software’s big game of the year. Their annual AAA. We’d stuck with Armored Cored V in 2012 and Verdict Day on PS3 in 2013, but after 10 years of waiting, and not much hope of ever seeing this license again, surprise surprise! Open-ended battles await us, with of course disused factories, ruined cities, foundries and numerous industrial buildings – in short, nature and greenery are not in the limelight here.
Of course, you can upgrade your mecha as you wish, focusing on ranged combat with rockets, the classic machine gun and other destructive firearms. But From Software has obviously focused on hand-to-hand techniques, with combos and mobility, dodging and dash. In short, it promises to be dynamic, with no big, slow, soporific mecha in sight.
We’ll have to be content with good gameplay and content, even if it’s true that FS tends to optimize its games well.
