EA and DICE have launched the new Battlefield 2042 in-game event War Machine, adding three new temporary game modes to the FPS, including Rush Override, a 4v28 PvE mode. The time-limited event runs from March 18 to April 15.

The Battlefield 2042 War Machine event is a time-limited experience for the FPS, offering three temporary game modes, including a 2v28 PvE mode called Rush Override, which sees four players fight off waves of 28 AI-controlled enemies.

As part of the event, which ends on April 15, players can also get stuck into Domination and King of the Hill from April 1. DICE has also added a 30-tier event pass and new in-game store items.

New 4v28 PvE Mode Explained

In War Machine, a rogue AI threatens to destroy humanity, and it’s up to you and your squad to save it from extinction. To defeat the AOS AI, you’ll need to wipe out the relentless AI robot hordes.

This event is only available for a limited time, featuring a 30-tier event pass that offers exclusive rewards for those who manage to survive the threat.

What to Expect from War Machine Event

Apart from the Override mode, players will find more challenges in Domination, where they will take control of precious resources and hold capture points. From April 1, King of the Hill will join the event until it ends on April 15.

Meanwhile, there are 7 Specialist skins and 8 weapon skins to unlock via the time-limited War Machine event pass.
