Assassin’s Creed Shadows has been revealed by Ubisoft with a cinematic trailer. We also know its release date and what platforms it will launch on.
Ubisoft has finally officially unveiled the upcoming open-world RPG Assassin’s Creed Shadows, formerly known as Assassin’s Creed Codename Red, with the developer and publisher looking to switch the series up with an all-new direction.
Set in Feudal-era Japan, the next premium flagship title in the AC series features two protagonists as players get to switch from a stealth-based Shinobi assassin and a Samurai. Quests will change depending on which you character you choose, and each features their own stats, skills, and items.
The story focuses on the late Sengoku period and will see Naoe’s and Yasuke’s stories intertwine as they travel Japan, visiting castle towns, ports, and other locations, recruiting allies and building a spy network to usher in a new and more peaceful era for the country.
The good news is that we don’t have to wait too long to get our hands on Assassin’s Creed Shadows as Ubisoft has announced a release date of November 15. The RPG will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The Standard Edition will cost €69.99, whereas the Gold Edition will be €109.99 and include three-days early access and the season pass. Those wanting the Ultimate Edition for the five skill points, Red Dragon filter for photo mode, Sekiryu Character and Hideout packs can pick that up for €129.99

I’ve always liked games that explore the era of feudal Japan, I and many other Assassin’s Creed fans have been waiting for a title like this for a long time. Honestly, I prefer to keep my expectations low since it’s going to be in the style of Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla, but if the story is good and there are epic battles, it’ll be something to consider buying when it’s on sale.
The new Assassin’s Creed is revealed and I like it a lot. We still haven’t seen gameplay but for what is known it will be like the previous open worlds ones and I liked them, specially Valhalla, so I’m ready, I just want an adventure in Japan, and yes, I like Ubi’s games so I’m hyped.
