Amazon’s Fallout Series Character Coming to Fallout 76 – Get Ready
New news arrives for Fallout 76 fans, the latest chapter and MMO version of the Fallout series. Indeed, during the Xbox Games Showcase 2024, held on 9th June 2024, the Xbox team announced new content coming to Fallout 76, including a major addition related to the success of the Amazon series.
Fallout 76: Preview of Season 17 and Skyline Valley
With a selection of 30 games, including numerous announcements from Bethesda, Fallout 76 also participated in the Xbox Showcase, showing a preview of the contents of Season 17. Season 17 will focus on the new game area: Skyline Valley.
An update that will arrive shortly, confirming the date for 12th June 2024. A major new update that adds a new game area south of Appalachia, and a new main quest centered on Vault 63, finally available. But there will be no shortage of new enemies, equipment, and much more among the new features.
Fallout 76 – The Ghoul Class Coming Thanks to the Amazon Series
Furthermore, a major new feature is coming to complete the experience, a feature long requested by fans of the series and until now available only in a limited way for the spin-offs. For the first time in a main game, we can play as a Ghoul. The Ghoul class, as Jonathan Rush explains in an exclusive interview with IGN, will bring a breath of fresh air to the gameplay style, thanks to the typical peculiarities of Ghouls. As Ghouls, we will not only be immune to radiation, but it will heal us. As Jonathan comments, this opens up a new style of gameplay where we can forgo Power Armor to receive even more radiation, freeing up a significant amount of points otherwise assigned to Power Armor alone.
A choice that also confirms the success of the Amazon TV series Fallout, where Cooper Howard, known simply as The Ghoul, has become one of the most beloved characters in the series. But as Jonathan reiterates, we can play as a Ghoul only from level 50 and will have to wait until early 2025 to do so. So we’ll have to wait a bit longer to play as a Ghoul, but in the meantime, we can enjoy a great new experience in Skyline Valley.
