EA has officially launched the new EA app for desktops and replaced its Origin launcher.
EA plans to phase Origin out slowly as PC users are advised to download the new EA app from the official site, where Origin will be automatically uninstalled and replaced with the new launcher.
The new EA app will see your games, content, progress, achievements, cloud saves, and friends list carry over from Origin.
