EA FILE PATENT FOR REALISTIC ANIMATION

 

It was recently discovered that EA had published a patent called “Enhanced Animation Generation Based on Video with Local Phase.”

The EA patent describes a way of producing realistic and fluid animations with minimal input from game developers using video data.

The AI will allow EA to produce even more realistic sports games like NFL Madden, their upcoming EA Sports FC, and other games, including their published Star Wars games and Assassin’s Creed titles.
